Laurie Mackie is a Canadian visual artist who specializes in custom lithographs and fine art monoprints.
Her printmaking combines a range of traditional and contemporary printmaking processes.
She works closely with corporate and private clients to create limited edition lithographs from photographs and documents. Her use of photopolymer plates offers clients unique possibilities for personalized custom fine art prints.
Laurie's lithograph prints reflect her interest in heritage and culture. Print images include heritage buildings, homes, and the landscape.
She teaches printmaking at her studio, and through local schools and community centres.
In 2001 Laurie was one of four visual artist who formed The Store Studio Collective.
This dynamic artist run studio and gallery occupied a 1910 heritage building in historic Old Town in Victoria, BC. For two years, the group presented works in photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation art.
